Tim O'Brien Prototype #1 Here are a few photos of the first of two prototypes of the Michael Kemnitzer/Collings project. In the case of the TOB Model, the wood comes from Nugget Mandolins, and Mike carves and braces the top and the back. The final assembly and finish is then completed at the Collings factory in Austin. They will retail at $5500.
