Pomeroy F Style #47 Another good looking F style from Don Paine in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He's building with a vengeance folks... just the last 2 1/2 years. This is a "blackface" with a brushed satin finish. I would characterize Don's mandolins as consistently sweet and soft in tone, but with good volume as well. They have Adirondack spruce tops, ring beautifully and are well set up.
