Pomeroy F-Style #43 OK, now this really is the best F yet from Don Paine. (I said that about #37). He's getting a consistently open and ringing sound that is very pleasing. Don's mandolins are being gathered up as quickly as he can make them, and many owners have more than one. The satin finish and coloration both lend this instrument a look that will wear well with age. A nice instrument and a good buy. Don works out of his shop in Glenwood Springs, Colorado where he also plays Old-Timey and Celtic Music in numerous configurations.
