Collings MT2V (Varnish)
Just received our first varnish finished Collings mandolin. Most impressive open sounding instrument. Meaty tone on the treble strings, but woody and bassy too. Can't imagine finding much better of a mando for the buck. The V model comes with an upscale wood selection, including a great looking Adirondack top on this particular instrument. Also standard on the V model is the Nugget styled pickguard. List is $4850, and is available at $4365 with hardshell.
